The module Applicator Sizing Flow supports the product dimensioning of flow instruments taking important application parameters into consideration. Calculated results are flowmeter's diameter, pressure loss and measured error calculations. A part of the order code is determined.
Select a fluid and the instrument, put in the process conditions and reference values and the Sizing-Flow will calculate a suggested diameter of the flow device for your application. The sizing results like pressure loss, accuracy and meter operating range are clearly presented in absilute figures and charts.
Selected process connections are verified in relation to requirements and the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED).
Different tabs facilitate simple and clear navigation in the application. You can enter values and/or transfer values from selected fields within the tab. Representations of the application visually support product design. The tabs are called as follows: - Sizing - Fluid properties - Gas mixtures - TriSize - Charts - Order code - Unit converter - Unit defaults - CorDB - Corrosion database (option)
Applicator Sizing Flow enables you to design all of the Endress+Hauser standard flow instruments in an optimum fashion. Up to 300 different fluids (liquids, gases, steams) are available in a database. Applicator calculates the material properties, e.g. density, viscosity, etc. User definded fluids and user defined gasmixtures are definable and possible to save in a database.
You also find an optional module, the corrosion database for flow instruments, which indicates a division into corrosion classes in dependence on application and material.
Applicator software offers you the possibility of printing all of the information in PDF format and data calculated during dimensioning, copying the designed measuring point as a TAG into the project module for documentation purposes.
MyApplicator - Adjust your preferences for Sizing Flow: The user has the possibilty to define and save his personal Applicator profil. A suitable Applicator inviroment is the best condition for a successful Applicator use!
Seamless date exchange with other Applicator modules, e.g. with the product Selection enables the user to find alternative and suitable products while the dimensioning process.
